Terms of Use

Last updated: October 15, 2026

01About These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of tacticalgearguy.com (“Tactical Gear Guy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website.

02Information Only, Not Professional Advice

Our guides, reviews, and answers are for general information and education. They are not professional medical, legal, firearms, or safety advice, and they don’t replace a qualified professional who can look at your specific situation.

People, places, and products all differ. Always read product labels and manufacturer instructions, and follow the laws where you live. If our guide and a label or manual disagree, follow the label or manual.

03Safety Disclaimer

• Laws on knives, firearms, ammunition, body armor, and similar items differ by country and state. Check and follow your local laws before you buy, carry, or use them.
• Get proper, qualified training before using firearms, protective equipment, or survival and first aid gear.
• Protective gear such as plate carriers, helmets, and gas masks only protects within its rated limits. Read the ratings and never rely on gear for more than it is made for.
• Keep sharp tools, firearms, and chemicals locked away from children.
• If you are unsure about any step, stop and contact a qualified professional.

04Accuracy of Information

We work hard to keep our guides accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee that every page is complete, current, or error-free. Products, settings, and recommendations change over time. The website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

05Affiliate Links & Prices

Some pages contain affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never decides what we recommend.

Tactical Gear Guy is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Prices, availability, and product details are set by retailers and can change at any time. Always check the final price and details on the retailer’s website before you buy. Your purchase is a contract between you and the retailer, not us.

06Third-Party Websites

Our pages link to other websites, such as retailers and manufacturers. We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content, products, policies, or practices.

07Trademarks

Brand names, product names, and logos mentioned on this website belong to their owners. Mentioning them is for identification only and does not mean those companies endorse or are affiliated with Tactical Gear Guy. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

08Our Content

The text, design, graphics, and layout of this website belong to Tactical Gear Guy or are used with permission. You may read, share links to, and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, scrape, or sell our content without written permission.

09Messages You Send Us

When you send us a question, suggestion, or correction, you agree that we may use your idea or feedback to improve our guides, without payment to you. We will never publish your name or email address without your permission.

10Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tactical Gear Guy is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including injury, illness, property damage, plant or crop loss, voided warranties, or lost data, arising from your use of this website or from acting on any information in it.

12Indemnification

You agree to hold Tactical Gear Guy harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the website, your breach of these Terms, or any project or task you carry out based on our content.

13Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us by email so we can try to resolve the issue in good faith.

14Changes & Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website means you accept the updated Terms. Questions?
