A decent pair of tactical gloves should be an item on your list of things to own or soon purchase. The benefit-to-cost ratio is extremely high (meaning a lot of benefit out of every dollar spent) because a pair of tactical gloves will give you a lot of dexterity and grip-strength in certain situations where it’s needed. In wet and rainy conditions, cold weather climates, carrying heavy objects, and more, a good pair of tactical gloves will eventually be required.

In my time serving in the military, there’s always been situations where I was glad to have my pair of tactical gloves on me. They weren’t the best for squeezing the trigger, but people would just cut the tip of the index finger off. Fighter Pilots are known for doing this as well so they have a better feel of the controls.

Tactical gloves are fairly inexpensive as well, usually ranging between $20 and $30 (with some lower and higher depending on the quality).

What’s nice about the Knuckle Gloves is the PU Leather palms and fingertips which gives you optimal grip in those cold and damp environments and also allows you to use a touchscreen without the need to remove your gloves. There’s nothing worse than being in a situation where you need to use a cellphone or tablet in the field and then having to take off a glove or both in order to use the device. That’s not a problem though with the Glove Station Tactical Knuckle Gloves.

They also have (as the name gives it away) reinforced knuckle molding which gives your hands maximum protection when you’re in the field training or while on deployment. The gloves themselves are said to be very similar to a pair of Oakley gloves without spending a bunch of money. Magpul had designed this glove to be extremely functional on the firing range or while hunting. The back of the thumbs have a soft suede material so you can clear any fog on your rifle optics or your safety glasses. The forefinger is narrow which allows you to have better feel and control of your firearms trigger and selector.

Even though I stated a ‘con’ that this glove is less protective, it still offers a good amount of abrasion protection for your hands. Anything on you hand is better than a bare hand.

Of course you can spend over $30 on a pair of gloves, but those usually dont last that much longer, unless you’re spending close to $100… sometimes you just need something right now in the moment while you save up for those nice items down the road.
